First was a night tour of Rome to see all the monuments lighted. Tour started near our hotel at Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica.
Trevi Fountain at night is a must viewing.
First day stop was at the magnificent Victor Emanual Monument.
Then a long walk through the Roman Forum Ruins.

Arch of Septimius Severus stands over 80 ft. tall and was finished in 203 AD.

We were able to get a guided tour of the interior and avoid the long waiting lines.

Next day was started with a tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel.

Egyptian art was awesome.
For two hours we walked through floor to ceiling incredible art. No photos were allowed in Sistine Chapel.
